Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the local organizing committee it is pleasure for me to thank all the participants of the SPM-2019-RCWDFM Joint International Conference combining the 3rd International Conference “Scanning Probe Microscopy” (SPM), the 4th Russia-China Workshop on Dielectric and Ferroelectric Materials (RCWDFM), International Youth Conference "Functional Imaging of Nanomaterials", and exhibition of nanotechnological equipment! SPM-2019-RCWDFM welcomed about 200 participants from 14 countries and 24 cities of Russia.

The conference witnessed 7 industrial, 42 invited, 42 oral, and 150 poster presentations. The proceedings will be published as the special issues of Crystals, IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering, FERROELECTRICS journals, and Journal of Advanced Dielectrics.

Organizing committee acknowledges sponsors and exhibitors: Taylor & Francis, Crystals journal, NT-MDT Spectrum Instruments, SPECS, OSTEC, OPTEC, INTERTECH Corporation, MTEON, Promenergolab, and IMC. Special thanks to Alexander Lukanin, who sponsored the awards for the best oral and poster presentations of young scientists.

SPM-2019-RCWDFM Joint International Conference will combine the 3rd International Conference "Scanning Probe Microscopy" (SPM), the 4th Russia-China Workshop on Dielectric and Ferroelectric Materials (RCWDFM), International Youth Conference “Functional Imaging of Nanomaterials”, and exhibition of nanotechnological equipment.

SPM will cover a wide range of topics related to modern nanotechnologies and functional imaging of nanostructured materials by various modes of Scanning Probe Microscopy as well as study of ferroics. The first SPM conference was held in Ekaterinburg in 2017 and had such a success that it was decided to hold it in the same place in 2018 and in 2019.

The Youth Conference will consist of tutorial session and scientific conference on nanoscale phenomena in different functional materials.

RCWDFM aims at providing a platform to enhance the bilateral communication, exchange and collaboration among the researchers working on fundamentals and applications of dielectric and ferroelectric materials. The first China-Russia workshop was held in Xi’an in 2013, the second – in Voronezh in 2015, and the third – in Wuhan in 2017.

The first announcements in English and in Chinese are available.

The second announcement can be downloaded here.
