The creation of a full-value equivalent of human skin in the very near future can become a reality. Participants of the Ural project shift, who worked in this direction in January 2018 in the educational center "Sirius", proposed to use magnetic levitation to solve this problem. The project "Creation of the skin equivalent using magnetic levitation methods", led by the researchers of the UCSU MN Lyubov Gimadeeva and Dr.

The center staff member and student Eugene Vlasov (in the center of the photo), as a result of the strict selection among UrFU students, has received a scholarship to participate in the Winter School from a partner university – Northwestern Polytechnical University in Xi'an. The Winter School was held from December 29, 2017 to January 11, 2018.

The member of the center Andrei Makaev will tell about his internship in the company "3D Bioprinting solutions" on the theme "3D printing of biological tissues using the extrusion method". The seminar will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 3:00 pm.

Prof. Vladimir Shur, director of the Ural Center for Shared Use “Modern Nanotechnologies” UrFU and Dr. Andrei Akhmatkhanov, senior researcher visited Wuhan, China on October 12-14, 2017 and took part in the 3rd China-Russia Workshop on Dielectric and Ferroelectric Materials with invited talks. The next Workshop from this series will be held in 2019 in Ekaterinburg under the direction of Prof. Shur.
