On Friday, May 18 at 16:00, a seminar of our guest Professor Gil Rosenman from the Tel Aviv University (Israel) will be held at the UCSU "Modern Nanotechnologies" (in room 209) on the topic: “Peptide Nanophotonics: Physics, Nanotechnology and Applications”. The language of the seminar is Russian. All are invited to attend.
Gil Rosenman is a Full Professor of School of Electrical Engineering, Tel Aviv University.
He has more than 200 publications, 26 patents and supervised 20 PhD and more than 20 MSc students.
He is well-known for his studies of physics of ferroelectrics and ferroelectric domains, advanced electron emission cathodes, ferroelectric domain engineering for a new generation of compact lasers, innovative research in the field of surface modification.
Last 10 years he is involved in physics and technology of new bioinspired nanomaterials where he observed basic physical phenomena such as piezoelectric, nonlinear, electrooptical effects, optical waveguiding and more. Recently he developed a new generation of visible bionanodots - a new generation of nanostructures of biological origin towards wide nanomedical applications.
He is the co-founder of the startup company StoreDot Ltd.
