• The visit of guest from Ireland
  • From 14.08 to 31.08.2018 an assistant professor of University of Limerick (Ireland) Tofail Syed will visit UCSU "Modern Nanotechnology". He will arrive in Ekaterinburg for joint scientific research and participation in the conference "Scanning Probe Microscopy - 2018".
    The subject of his research is «Biological Pyroelectrics for Energy Harvesting and Infrared Detection» and «SPM investigations of domain walls in Barium titanate PTC thermistors».

    On Tuesday, 21 August, at 15-00 in the room 209 Tofail will report about his research at the seminar. All are invited!

The conference was held on June 25 - 28 at the MIREA - Russian Technological University (Moscow).

  • The delegation of 15 researchers of UCSU "Modern Nanotechnologies" took part in the 14th Russia/CIS/Baltic/Japan Symposium on Ferroelectricity with invited, oral and poster presentations. The symposium was held on May 14 - 18 at the Ioffe Physico-Technical Institute (St. Petersburg).
    Young participants of the symposium also attended lectures of leading scientists within the framework of Young Scientists School on Spectroscopic Studies of Critical Dynamics at Structural Phase Transitions.
